In the earlier part of this century, when the Pentecostal movement was near its modern-day zenith of spiritual power, a young anointed minister named George C. Clark was taught spiritual truths by Jesus which could have blessed, united, and healed the body of Christ. Brother Clark warned many of the leaders and preachers of the "fiery" movement that its power would soon wither because of it's teachings concerning "the New Birth", "Salvation", and even regarding the identity of the "Church" itself. They would not hear him. Why should they? God was seemingly blessing them . . . numbers of new followers were coming in. Healings were taking place. Many were being baptized in the holy Ghost, and Pentecostal fellowships were springing up virtually everywhere. The Church would not heed his instruction, and so, Brother Clark continued to minister to a small remnant of Spirit filled believers who would hear, but he was rejected or ignored by most of the body of Christ until his death in 1989. We are now living in the days of Brother Clark's prophecy "fulfilled" . . . the body of Christ is thoroughly divided; God's people are confused and scattered; the Spirit of God in EVERY Pentecostal denomination has, for the most part, been quenched; the power, love, and glory of the Lord which some of the old saints knew has passed away, while "Christianity" accomplishes it's destructive purposes: to rule over the Spirit-baptized saints of God with it's "creeds", "doctrines", and "ceremonies", none of which have been inspired by the holy Ghost.
